Borderline Gestational Diabetes Question Re: Borderline Gestational Diabetes?

Question re: borderline gestational diabetes? - borderline gestational diabetes

I have had my blood test in 1 hour. Then, three hours in a 2 of my 4 moves are high, but my last drawing was good, they said. I think my blood sugar levels are jumping everywhere. No need to take insulin. I just changed my diet to control my blood sugar. I must see the nutritionist next week. Its weird because they did not passed the test, but I do not. I hate gray area! lol! The nurse said the biggest concern is the size of the baby. I am very small framed do not want the child is too big. So my question is: did this to someone else happened? How to change your diet? She had her baby in the majority? Any other information you would like to share?

31 weeks today!

Thank you very much!

I had gestational diabetes first with my child. I found out 28 weeks after failing the test glucose in 3 hours. You need to take insulin, just changed my diet and avoid foods with sugar and carbohydrates, which sucks, because I was always cold and could not eat desire. I had to check my blood sugar 4 times a day and a record of it and keep to my dr. Check it every week at my appointment. Pregnant Over 37 1 / 2 weeks, my doctor I want an ultrasound to check the size of the child, because my fundal height was still higher than normal. Well, if he thinks 9 pounds and 2 ounces CA section is for 3 days. Uterine appointment with my 38 weeks was 43rd This section included AC because the baby was on the longest side and I am very small framed well, and I'm only 5'2 "and they were affected to a shoulder dystocia. When my son 10 was lb 3 oz and 22 in 38 weeks.

The baby is doing well, his blood sugar was fine and that I was, you have had fluid in the lungs of Section C andthe monitor in the crib for a few days. I'm going to have another child and did not have gestational diabetes with her.

  2. This is not really the size of the child care, because the size is not causing the problem - the size of your shoulders (shoulder dystocia) is. Sometimes they are locked, and must lose his shoulder, sometimes the feeling to have broken his arm - often nicey arm healthy and fast, but nobody wants it to be a doctor or a midwife who broke her arm. In addition to reducing blood glucose levels after delivering the baby, glucose they need, and produce time in the NICU - that's more insulin to counteract the excesses of the produce in a fight, while bathed in the womb.

There will be many mothers, many fruits and vegetables, low sugar, if necessary, processed complex carbohydrates and no carbohydrates. Some midwives recommend no milk in the end. There were big baby, 9 pounds 6 oz and 10 lb 5 oz - No shoulder dystocia, no gestational diabetes just big babies - who no problems glucose should be avoided altogether if possible.

  3. This happened to me. The nutritionist said that "not good". She gave me a diet to follow and it was pretty easy. Despite the departure of all sugars and carbohydrates, can cause anxiety, it can not have more! I had my level of the test 4 times a day to wake up # & 2 hours after breakfast, lunch and dinner. In reality, partial control and low carbohydrates and sugar. It's like the point-guard system weight. I am a fool, ice cream, some of my "points", so even if the service was not enough! =) I am pregnant with twins, and found that GD was about 28ish (?) Weeks. At the same time is measured in most, but so slowly. I thought the by Caesarean section at 36.1 weeks and were 5 to 6 kg. What makes you the most is that the baby has the weight and premature birth. This means that the baby is not developed enough. Just follow the diet and was fine. Just be sure will continue to keep their numbers when you run the test, because the doc willthem at each visit. This may mean that you should see your doc more often. I had to go twice a week, but I'd also limit hypertension and pre-eclampsia (phew!) But give it some slack from time to time. Sometimes I could not help myself and my values would be a little high and my doc was fine with that! Good luck! =)
